Partus positive steroid injections at 27 weeks

Hi ladies I was having belly tightenings for three days went hospital Friday they did two swabs. Test for labour was positive so had two lots of steroid injections they said I can go at any time it's just waiting for my waters to go. The neck of my womb is still tight. Has anyone ever been through this and how long after having this test and steroids did you go into labour?
