should I test?

my period was supposed to come yesterday, and it hasn't. I woke up today and my boobs are super sore and my back hurts really bad... my boobs have never hurt before my period. should I test? I've tested about every month bc my period has been late and I'm kind of tired of spending my money on tests just to get a disappointing negative...
