Blood preasure

Was at the doc today seeing inhad 170 BP

With high puls now im 7 weeks preagnet. And very very scared and worried that i ma doe cause of it or the baby now the doc didn't even speak to me about it he had his Assistent that world in Front desk tell me that i should come back the next day for a 24 HR blood pressure so.. i mean it would have helped of the doc could have talked to me to get Some sort info about the very high BP any one else out there who has high BP and is getting treated for it And puls or am i alone on this one
