Best Prenatal Vitamins ???

My husband and I are TTC our rainbow baby. I'm currently taking gummy prenatal vitamins but I want to know what the BEST brand/ vitamins are so I can switch to those after mine are gone. I'm supposed to ovulate again at the end of this month and I'm less than 2 weeks away from my birth control pills to be done! (Had to be on the pill for 2 months to regulate my cycles) Please help!

This is going to be long. First I would highly suggest getting your bloodwork done and ask if they would test for the MTHFR gene mutation as well. It can cause infertility and miscarriages as just one of the symptoms. Basically the mutation makes you naturally low in nutrients that your body needs to function--not good for pregnancy!

As for your vitamins, stay away from grocery store vitamins if you want the best. I went to a naturopathic doctor about my MTHFR and they were very impressed with the brand I use for supplements. I use Designs for Health vitamins that are sold through doctors and on Amazon. They're expensive but they're absolutely the best because they have the correct form of everything and they absorb great into your body! I'll post what I use each day below if you're wondering.

If you don't want to order these vitamins, there are several things you need to look for in vitamins. Some are 1) folate and not folic acid. Folic acid is the synthetic form. 2) vitamin B should be as methylcobalamin,  not cyanocobalamin which has a CYANIDE group in its makeup so your body has to get rid of it before it benefits your body--dumb 3) when you take vitamin D (particularly D3), you also have to be taking vitamin K (particularly K2) with it in order for it to benefit your body---they work together.

So because of the MTHFR gene I have to take high doses of things. You'll have to see what is best for you. I take:

----Designs for Health Prenatal Pro
----Designs for Health Homocysteine Supreme (I take 1, not 2....this has a lot of folate too!
----Designs for Health Vitamin D Ultra (I'm always low in D...this one has 10,000IU that my doctor put me on)
----Kirkland Quick Dissolve B12 5000mcg

I haven't purchased these yet but my doctor also wants me on a probiotic and fish oil.

Overall definitely, definitely look into Designs for Health Prenatal Pro!!!!!
