Cleaning your ears?

How often do you clean your ears? I know you're not supposed to clean them because the wax helps prevent you from getting sick. BUT I always feel the need to shove a cotton bud in there and clean them 😩

Always. Q tips are bad for you blah blah, I'm not gonna walk around with crusty ears ok 😂

I clean them when they itch. I don't see any problem with it. I also clean my kids ears because my 7mo daughter gets a build up of wax and dry skin in her ears and my son do too. They get it from their dad for some weird reason.

What are the sources of ear wax helping your immune system? Never heard of that. I usually swab every other day after a shower. Some of my esthetician classmates have went on to learn that ear candling technique but not me 😷
