Listeria recall and pregnancy

I have a question about this whole listeria recall. Since listeria was found in frozen food wouldn't cooking it kill the bacteria? I have eaten frozen green beans but I didn't see the brand I ate on the recall list but it still concerns me. Since becoming pregnant I try to overcook everything on high heat lol will that make my food safe to eat or is it a waste of time?
