Misscarrige???

So last week i had an early misscarrige. My second this year. I started bleeding went to the hospital and got a negitive pregnancy test. Twins run in my parters family. The past couple of days i have been feeling sick and just not right i gess. My question is.. Is it possible i was mabey pregnant with twins and lost one??? I was ment to book in for a scan but didnt see much point and to be honest couldnt really face it xx
