Losing Virginity?

So I'm a freshman in college now. My friends at home are all virgins and I grew up only thinking that sex could only happen in marriage. But as I've grown up, I realize that I want sex. My friends at college encourage me to try if I'm ready. But how do you know? Do you regret giving up your virginity before marriage or in general? Or is it not that big of a deal?

I feel like it depends on who you are with. I planned on waiting till marriage but when I met my boyfriend I didn't wait, I knew I was going to be with him for a long time. I felt
comfortable with him and I trust him with every fiber in my being. we have been together for almost 3 years and I do not regret it! If you feel like you are ready and comfortable, I don't see the problem. Don't feel pressured to do anything you don't want to do

I was going to wait for marriage as well but ended up not. I don't regret it but it's because who it was with to me Id prolly regret it if it was a one night stand or something like that, but if you don't think you will that's good then:) but for me I didn't care because I know im gunna marry him eventually

I lost my virginity sophomore year of college. And honestly I really wish that I waited until I was 21. I was 18 at the time. My advice is to do it with someone who appreciates your worth and someone you're comfortable with, because you are going to be feeling very vulnerable. It's something that you think about the next day and not really at the time and I would hate for you to think something bad about yourself the next day or feel uncomfortable with your decision. If you want to do it please choose your partner very wisely because this is something you're going to remember for the rest of your life.

I was taught to wait till marriage as a kid (christain).. And as i grew into tean years i pretty much said im guna wait till im 18 no matter what.. But i met my boyfriend and we had a long talk about it after almost being together for a year, and it happened. I dont regret it at all nor will i in the future. Its up to you in the end wheather your ready and want to loose it before marriage. I have heard some people wish they waited for their husband. But id loose it to someone i love (which i did) and im sure you wont regret it.
