Do second babies weigh more than first?

Question

My first DD was 9lb when she was born and worried this baby going to be bigger...

Are second babies always bigger or is that just an old wives tale. I'm expecting another DD if that changes anything...

My first was 9 lbs (1 week late)
Second was 10lbs 3oz (10 days late)
Now I'm pregnant with third... Better not be 11lbs!

My brother, sister and I were all the same exact weight and height. 7lb 11oz 19 3/4in long lol ?

only pregnant with my first but my older sister was 8 lb 9oz & I was only 6lb 1oz so guess not? :) depends really :)

A lot of the time they seem to but it just really depends on each baby. My first was 9.3 so I hope not!  My step mother in laws kids the first was 9 something and the second was 6 so that give me hope!

Mine was but that doesn't mean it's true. My first was 9lbs11oz and second was 10lbs 10oz. Hoping this one doesn't follow the upward trend though

My 1st son and 2nd son both weighed the same, 9lb exactly. Ds1 was 11 days overdue, ds2 was 9 days overdue.

My second baby weighed 12 oz more than my first. But my third weighed a whole pound and 3 oz less than my second and 7 oz less than my first!
