35 weeks pregnant and irregular heartbeat

My baby had been healthy this whole time until today at my appointment which they told me that he has an irregular heartbeat. This is our first baby and my husband and I are so worried. They referred me to a high risk doctor so I'm gonna see her sometimes Thursday or Friday of this week. Did any of you guys had a baby with irregular heartbeat? If so what happened during delivery or after?
