Ex boyfriend

My ex and i broke up three months ago and we still talk and hangout like we never even broke up but we both have also been trying to move on from eachother but that doesn't seem to be happening but he keeps telling me that he misses me but idk if i can believe it. But i also want to because he is my first love. What should i do?
