How often are you suppose to take a OPK ?

I took my first opk on 5/10 & it had a smiley face. I took it again today (5/12) & it had a blank face. My firtile window started on the 7th ... But when i took the opk on the 10th & logged it in the Glow calendar, it changed my fertile window (2nd pic) 🤔🙄
