Late ovulation?

Hey ladies! I was due to start my period May 3rd, but it has still not arrived. I was admitted into the hospital on May 2nd for unexplained upper abdominal and mid back pain. After many tests and a four day stay, they released me diagnosing me with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). I've never experienced that exact pain before and I have a history of kidney stones, ovarian cysts, and ruptured ovarian cysts, and lots of other pain causing problems. I kno that it was not any of the things I've had before. Anyways, I ended up taking a dollar tree pregnancy test Monday may 9th around 7 at night. It was negative. Then Tuesday around 7pm, i took a first response and got a very very faint positive. Re-tested the following morning with FMU and it was about the same if not even lighter. But I'm actually thinking I could've taken that rest wrong. I was more than still half asleep and, TMI, I think I peed all over the stinkin test everywhere but where I was supposed to. Anyways, I've had two previous pregnancies which both ended in miscarriage, but I was able to get a clear positive when I was a day late for my first one, and three days late with my second one. But, both times was the first time I had tested for each, so I don't have a clue the earliest I would've gotten a positive. What are the chances I just had a very late ovulation? Or could there be something else going on causing me to only have such a super faint positive when I'm this late for my period? Any advice? After experiencing the two miscarriages, I'm so scared to get my hopes again. I have had some symptoms, too. The bottom of my breasts along where my bra is has been incredibly sore to the touch to the extent I've had to wear a super loose sports bra, I've had severe gas pains and nausea off and on. I actually have more symptoms now than I did with either of my previous pregnancies. Any ideas?
