How easy is it to really get pregnant? #chitchat

I've been off BC since January, so it's been about 4 months. I know it usually takes a lot longer but I wanna chit chat with TTC mommies who are in the same place as me. I'm seeing so many girls young/old who are "accidentally" getting pregnant one after another and here I am... giving my body every OK and nothing happens. Slowly as time goes on, I become more and more depressed about it because really.. It isn't "that easy" and I guess those who just fall pregnant from breathing the air of their SO don't understands that. Feel free to vent your frustration and let's talk about it with those who know what we're feeling. And don't worry, our time will come and when it does, it will be even more of a blessing. ❤️❤️❤️

I'm in the same position. Off birth control since November and my body did not transition super well. Up until this point I did everything I could to NOT get pregnant and now that I'm ready it seems like it's much harder than I imagined! I wish someone would have told me to get of BC sooner to let my body get used to producing hormones on its own again...

Same here. Been off BC since August. Have been TTC since January. Last cycle I went all out, opks, bbt, cm checks! I have mid-cycle pains so I know exactly when I'm ovulating (which I'm so thankful for!) and I'm still not pregnant.

Honestly the only reason I think I'm getting threw it is I'm not really changing anything I normally do. I see it like, at least I have another month of doing things i can't do if I were pregnant. The occasional drinking or smoking. Going out with friends to do anything related to those things. It's keeping me sane!

I have to keep reminding myself, it will happen when my body's ready and when I am chosen to be blessed with another child! Good luck, baby dust to all!!!!

Well I had a misscarriage in February and decided 2weeks ago to Ttc and well I'm pregnant!

We've been trying for 5 months like rabbits and nothing . Kind of depressing when people ask when we're going to have kids. I've done everything that's these tips say to do while some girls can just look at a guy and get pregnant . It's hard but you gotta keep positive. Sprinkle some baby dust your way ! ☺️

I ve been ttc since February and I always get my hopes up that I don't come on my period and it is very depressing. You try to stay positive because it hasn't been that long but it's hard. I am starting to use ovulation test this month to see if I can time it better and also taking pre pregnancy vitamins too.

I'm the same we also came off bc in January and nothing. I know that's not long compared to some people and we could easily have months or even years to go :-( they spent the whole time at school telling you how easy it is to get pregnant and then there's people that accidentally fall even on the pill and with condoms and yet I'm killing myself keeping charts and testing, changing my diet, taking God knows how many different vitiamins, quitting smoking, drinking and caffeine. But still ever month just disappoint :-(

It took us 19 months. We started ttc in August 2014. Eventually I was diagnosed with PCOS by a fertility specialist, and I changed my diet to gluten free, dairy free, low sugar and caffeine free. I got pregnant the second cycle after I changed my diet.

I'd suggest you have a preconception appointment with the doc, just to make sure everything's fine. Give it time as well. You've only been trying for a short time. I know it can be frustrating, but good things come to those who wait, right? 😊

I got pregnant on my 7th month of trying which was also my 7th month off of birth control.

I wouldn't worry just yet. I know it's frustrating because you want to get pregnant straight away but relax and I'm sure it will happen. With my first it took 9 months then with my second 4 months and this time 3 months. I consider myself very fortunate because in my mind even 9 months was pretty quick.
