Spotting, am I pregnant?

Today is 4 days before my scheduled period.  Last week I felt cramping lower then normal cramps. I have only wanted to wear sports bras. Today I woke up with my left hip in a lot of pain. It lasted 4-5 hours. I am also spotting. It's very light pink in color. My husband and I has sex 6 out of the 7 days I was ovulating. Has anyone else had these symptoms and became pregnant??  I did take a test and it was negative but I didn't test positive for my son till closer to my expected period.
