I've had a terrible cough for a week now, been using Robatussin but the cough is uncontrollable.  I couldn't get an appt with my primary until Monday so yesterday I went to Immediate Care.  The doctor told me that it was viral and was going to give me a script for a prescription cough syrup but after looking it up realized that it wasn't safe for baby.  I'm suffering this morning with an uncontrollable cough, I've already vomited because the phlegm is so disgusting and thick (sorry TMI).  I've been using cough drops like crazy and I can't get any relief.  HELP!!!!!!!!!
