Yea test line has to be as dark as control line (on the right is the control line) usually as long as you have the absorbant end facing the left

Correct!,  if you're holding the test correctly, the wider end is to the right (control line) and the end that collects urine is at the left (test line) so looking at this test I would say not positive. The test line on left has to be the same color as or darker than control line on the right.  Good luck and keep testing. If you know your cycle length 28,32,34 days then the instruction booklet inside test box will tell you which cycle day to start testing to get your positive if it detects your LH Surge.🙌🏽👍🏽👌🏽🙏🏽
