Mother issues 🙄🙄🙄 HELP

I'm 18 and a senior in high school and will be going to college in the fall. I'm deciding between a school in AZ and another school in CA which is an hour away from where I originally live in CA. I loved the school in AZ and it's $20,000 school for me to go too and my dad is all down for me to go but my mom is not saying it's too far and just trying to ruin everything to make sure I don't go there. She's trying so hard to make me go to the school that's an hour away that's $40,000!! from home when I don't want to go there and I haven't even applied !!! My mom is going crazy and trying to control my life. My mom keeps saying that since her & my dad are paying for it that they get to choose where I go to school whether I like the school or not. But I don't think that's fair since they are making me take out loans that I have to pay myself !!! My parents are talking about it right now in private and I'm just not sure what to do. My mom said If I put up anymore of a fight that she'll just make me live at home and go to community college. I need help about what to do !! What can I say to my parents to let me go to AZ? And what do I say to my mom? Every time I say something she just yells about how I'm disrespectful. And if they do make me go to the school in CA, what should I do and how should I take it and react to them ?
