When did your spouse take vacation off?

I'm due July 6th, currently almost 33 weeks and I've been measuring two weeks early. I feel like my baby might be coming sooner than expected. I'm just curious, when should my spouse take his days off?on my due date?

What did you guys do?

We're having a scheduled C-section so he'll probably take the day off before and then all of his vacation (4 or so weeks).

My boyfriend is filling out fmla paperwork through his work so his will start the day I go into labor, just like mine would start.

Where I work, it's very flexible with expecting dads. They usually leave when their wives are in labor and then we see them whenever their vacation/FMLA is up.

It sucks because you just never know. My BF boss asked him to guess and put it in the calendar so he did. I'm due June 30 but he put in for June 24. His boss said he could switch if anything changes which I know it will because you can never say for sure when baby will be here.
 Hopefully your spouse has an understanding employer and will allow him to adjust if anything happens. I would put it for your due date. I was a week overdue with my first and had to be induced. I wish we could just be induced on our due date so we can plan accordingly but sucks it doesn't work that way lol I'm worried because it will be 4th of July and if too many people are on vacation how will my BF be able to adjust. It's a small company and not many employees. Just another thing to stress over😩

My husband just let his employer know around when my due date was and then he called off the day I was in labor and took the next three days off. Both times he has gone back to work half days once I was discharged from the hospital and doesn't usually take a long time off at all, so he doesn't need to give much notice. He is in management, too, so that makes a difference I think.

I guess it depends where they work right ? My boyfriend works putting fire sprinklers in buildings and when I go into labor (if he happens to be at work) he's able to come straight home and take his week off right after that..
