Midwife vs. OB?

Question

I'm 10 weeks along with my third pregnancy. Both previous pregnancies were normal/healthy. I'm considering a midwife (with hospital delivery) for my third

Thoughts?

I had ob for my first two. My third child decided to try midwife and I loved it, there more hands on. They stay with you in the delivery room way more then the obs are, so for my fourth baby I'm seeing my midwife

I'm in Australia so if you deliver at a public hospital, it's midwives that look after you during labour and leading up to the birth.
My midwife during my delivery was fantastic, he was in the room with my husband and I most of the time and was really encouraging and helpful. Suggesting different positions and gently advising my husband how to help without being pushy, lol.
The only time doctors came in was when my midwife let them know I was ready to push.

I had a midwife my first pregnancy. She was AMAZING! Unfortunately, since then Alabama has pulled their credentials at hospitals so I'll be seeing the OB when we get our BFP. As much as I would like to see her again, I feel more comfortable having my appointments with the one delivering my baby😕

I have a midwife and it's like having a best friend or your mom. Best experience ever. I'm a FTM and totally plan on delivering in the hospital and lettin g her do all the delegating and negotiations with the hospital regulations. So far the BEST decision I've made yet. 💚👍🏼

I schedule with an OB but she was too busy for my apt so the midwife offered to step in (this was my first apt) and she was just so wonderful and phenomenal I had to stick with her.

I had a midwife hospital delivery. I have Kaiser so you kind of just get what you're given. She was INCREDIBLE! So pleasant. She made the experience very enjoyable.
