Birth Control

I'm 17 and my mom is not aware that I'm sexually active yet. we use condoms but I'd like to be on a better form of a contraceptive. yes I know I can try no sex lol but if I wanted to do that I would've done it already. from my understanding, you have to get prescribed birth control but that means my mother would have to know. I'm trying to avoid that till next year when I'm graduating. where can I get birth control that I don't have to have prescribed to me that runs thru my insurance and everything?
