What age did your little one use a thin pillow?

What age did your little one first use a pillow in their Cot/Cotbed?

My son naps with me in bed and uses a pillow to support his head and he is nearly 17 weeks old. But haven't used a pillow in his cot just wanted to know people preferred age and experience :) 
 
Can you be specific with age :)

My daughter was 2 before she had any kind of pillow. It wasn't a hard rule or anything, just how it happened.

I didn't give my son a pillow until he was nearly 2, when I took the side off his crib and made it into a bed.

My child uses a rectangular memory foam pillow (firm,doesn't give a whole lot ) and it's great - much better. We love it! She's used it since she was 1 and we used a smaller thin one before that
