Placenta Previa?? Help please.

Any ladies have placenta previa with their previous pregnancy? Care to share some insight and past experiences? I'm a first time mom and I was told this  at my 16 weeks ultrasound today..

Had that with my twins ! Was put on pelvic rest.. At 14 weeks. So no sex BOO... Had bleeding 18 weeks and resolved within 2 days. Had bleeding and contractions admitted 23 weeks until boys were born at 30 weeks. Monitoring two times a day for hour . Two weeks bed rest and then the rest only to get up and pee and shower!!! Hope your pregnancy is smoother than mine!!! Don't be scared or look into it just relax when you need to and drink plenty of water.

I found out I have it as well at my 20 week ultrasound. They won't recheck me till 28 weeks but they just said no sex till it migrates up. I have a friend who was also diagnosed at her 20 week ultrasound and just had another at 32 weeks and it had migrated. There's like an 80/90% chance it migrates before delivery!

My mom had a placenta previa with me. She had to stay in the hospital for 2 months prior to having me. I was a premie and weighed 4 pounds 3 oz. but was pretty healthy and actually shocked the doctors. You'll be fine just take care of yourself and goodluck with your pregnancy.

Most cases it will move up but not always they will prolly recheck at 28 weeks and then again at 32.
