How long was your first period on implanon?

I got implanon a few weeks ago and my periods on its 7th day now :/

How did it work out for others?

My first one was about a week, but after a year of having it I started to get them 2 weeks on 1 week off, and then pretty much a month straight from there. Everyone has a different experience though.

I got my Nexplanon just before my period was supposed to start, so my uterine lining was at its thickest when I got it inserted.

I bled for 14 days for my first period. It was like 2 of my normal periods combined. Five of those days were very heavy and I was filling up my menstrual cup every 2 hrs. I think it was this heavy because my lining was very thick. It was also crampy like my old period.

My 2nd period hasn't been crampy at all and it seems like it will be light.

I had mine for 2 months or so.
