Labor???

Question

36+3 days and already 2cm dilated.  Been having sharp pains an pressure in vagina .  Should I go get checked out or is this normal ! Help please !

You should go for reaasurance but I've been having the same pains for the last two weeks. I am 35 weeks 3 days and found out yesterday that I am 2 cm dilated, 50% effaced, and baby head is a -2 station. The sharp pains/pressure comes and goes for me. If yours is consistant definitely get checked out. Everyone is different ☺️

I asked my doctor about the pressure and sharp vaginal pains. He told me that it's because of how their heads press against our pelvic bones and that's what we feel. Of course if your belly starts getting tight and having contractions then take your booty in! Good luck!!
