Sex in the dark or no?

When my SO and I have sex. I tell him to turn off the lights because I'm insecure about my body and the stretch marks I have though I never tell him that. But he loves having the lights on. So does  anybody feel the same? Don't mind? I don't want to feel like it's just me.

My favorite lighting is soft lighting. I don't want it to be bright Bc that kills the mood but I don't want it to be dark Bc I like to see. So like cradle light or a small lamp light is perfect.

My bf is insecure about his body so he likes it to be dark. I don't give a flying fart, but I do like when I can see him. Light on or off, it all feels good anyways lol

The only time we have sex in pitch dark is if we wake eachother up in the middle of the night. Otherwise its the lamp on, tv, or both
