TMI Mucous Plug or Discharge?

I am 37 & 5 days today. I had my weekly checkup yesterday with my doctor and he said I was only 1-2 cm And my cervix was pretty "thick" yet. Today I went to the bathroom and had A LOT of white "discharge" OR "plug." Can your plug just be white? It was way more than I have had thus far in my entire pregnancy, but I'm guessing just discharge..? Was hoping it to be my plug!

The mucous plug looks like a giant snot ball. Clear or yellowish tint and can possibly have brown pink or red strung through it. I lost mine a few weeks ago and it was just clear. (Sorry for the tmi). My ob said you can lose it multiple times because it regenerates.

My plug was a lot of snot colored discharge. It literally looked like I had a cold and blew my nose in the tissue and every time I wiped some cane out for days.

When I got checked last week I lost my mucus plug within 24 hours after and no labor :/ this is my fourth pregnancy so i know without a doubt it was the plug. Mine was clear with blood tinges throughout.
