Dying Hair ?? 17+4

Question

Okay, I really want to dye my hair like crimson or something but I'm just wondering, what are all the precautions I should take? Also, would it be safer to do it at home or salon? Or does it matter?
I just feel like a horrible fat ugly whale right now and dying my hair has always helped my self esteem in the past. Be nice no rude comments

My dr told me as long as I wasn't in a closed off room I will be just fine. I leave my bathroom door open and turn the vent fan on. If it's warm out I open the window. I'm on my 2nd pregnancy(died my hair 2 times w/my first pregnancy & so far only once this time)

I dye my own hair, always have. It's fine just make sure the room is well ventilated, I use an ammonia free dye to be extra safe. I think it's very important for pregnant ladies to keep on top of personal maintenance, I know it always make me feel ten times better when my hair is freshly dyed, nails neatly filed etc. I'm loving pregnancy but we need to remember we are people not just baby vessels! ☺

It's safe, but using a salon is the way to go. That or going to a place like Sally's and getting professional color. 😉

I feel like a big fat ugly slob too and I have a hair appointment on my birthday June 2nd to get a full highlight and I am so freaking thrilled!! I will be 14 weeks. Go for it sister!
