2nd c section and insurance question

My first was an emergency c section . This time around I was given a choice of either a v bac or c section. I discussed this a few times with my doctor and I ended up choosing a c section. Will I have trouble with my insurance since I opted for the c section? It is a repeat so I don't know if that matters . I am scheduling my c section next office visit and I was wondering if I would need to call my insurance company and ask them if I need a pre approval from the first . Or is that something the doctors office handles ?
