Got really bad headaches in your first trimester? How long did they last? What causes them and how can I avoid getting them?
Any info would be helpful...

Yes, it's very common. It is due to the rise in progesterone. You can take Tylenol to try to help. They should get better after the first trimester.

Hormones cause them. Your body is going through a hell of a lot right now adjusting to having a tiny human inside of you. You'll probably experience some of these symptoms like headaches, cramping, frequent urination, vomiting, nausea, sore breasts, spotting, vivid dreams etc.

Headaches are normal while your body tried to adjust to the changing hormones. I would avoid using Tylenol if possible, try a warm or cool wash cloth on your head/neck, lay down, nap and make sure you are drinking lots of water.
