Help! I think somethings wrong!

Hi! So I had sex with my partner and once he put it in I got a sharp pain in the left bottom portion of abdomen (right next to my hip bone) and during sex it hurt bad. I'm not sure what this is? Maybe I'm just being paranoid but I don't want to just blow this off before getting an opinion or two. I know it's not sexually transmitted disease because my partner and I are each other firsts and I get check ups with my gynecologist every few months. Please help!
