Preterm labor symptoms?

I've googled the symptoms but can any mommies with experience share their stories and symptoms please. I was in labor and delivery Wednesday having contractions every 6 minutes. My cervix was still closed and thick Wednesday.  The past two days I've had more frequent bowel movements and diarrhea 😷 today I have occasional cervical pain that almost stops me in my tracks. I'll be 32 weeks Monday and I've never had preterm labor with my daughters. I don't want to make an unnecessary trip to the ER.  Thanks!
