Would you have a divorce party/cake?

I'm just ending an 8 year relationship/ 2 year marriage where he became abusive. My divorce will be finalized this week. I've spent the last several years doing everything for him (bills, cars, you name it) and I have done very little for myself. When I left I only took my computer (for school), my car, and my clothes - got a protection order and an attorney.

Omg!  That sounds like me! Most of it anyway. Biggest things...mine may end this week (if not next wednesday) my relationship was 8 years, a year ago when he was forced to move out because of the restraining order. I have since moved on and ready to continue. I am thinking about having a celebration myself once I have my papers on hand!
