When to have another baby ?

How far apart do you think babies should be? What age for children is good to have another baby?

I always wanted my kiddies close in age like 1-2 years max. After it took so long to fall pregnant with baby #2 we are going to have a 4year 2months gap and I'll be honest I'm so bloody happy it's worked out this way. No way could I have coped with two kiddies under 2 or 3 with all those meltdowns from tantrums and paddy attacks as I call them when my daughter liked to throw self on floor like she was praying or somthing. Now I have a little helper who is happy about new sister comig and wants to be a part of it. Plus my daughter will start full time school in September 2015 and baby due 2nd May 2015 so will get time just me and baby while daughter at school for bonding. I do think thoigh in back of mind will they still be super close with the age gap because there a big difference between a 10 year old and 14 year old thinking for the future.

I have 2 younger brothers (17, 15) an I'm 21. I am extremely close to both of them but we were not raised together until I was in high school. I'm pregnant with my first an plan for my children to be 2years apart. I want 3children total. My brothers father has 4other children. They are 12, 10, 8, 7.

I am 30 and I have 32 and 23 year old brothers, and 16, 3, and 2 year old sister! I'm close to all of them! But the age gap is pretty big!

Well my older brother and I are two years apart, we played together pretty well, we were close and also competed with each other a lot. My younger sister is six years younger than me. She and my brother were like glued together and I hated not being the baby anymore and not being the only girl anymore. I hated her for a good 8-10 years... We'd play some but really until I was into high school and she was older too I didn't like her at all. My husband is the oldest, his brother is two years younger and his sister is four years younger. They got along okay growing up, there was a little fighting here as there. I think 2-10 years apart is good. Do you really want to be dealing with a newborn when you have a teen in the house?

My son will be two in feb! I was pregnant but lost it last month so we are trying again! 2.5 years makes sense to me

I do not have any children yet but I have always been a fan of close together I have 3 siblings and we are all about 2 years apart. I work in an OB/GYN office and the suggest to women for their body to heal wait around 1 year to conceive again if you had a vaginal birth and around 18 months if you had a c-section. Less likelyhood of miscarriage because your body will be better prepared. Hope this helped.
