How long did you have crampy BH?

For moms who've done the labor waiting game before, how long did you deal with those BH contractions that come with some cramping/pain (more than just tightening) but not near enough to be "real contractions"? I'm 37 and 4 and have had the stronger BH a few times each night for about 4 days! They usually don't wake me up in the sense that they're painful, but I wake up realizing they are happening, if that makes sense. Just wondering if any moms experienced this "practice labor" and for how many weeks!

With my last baby I went into preterm labor at 28 weeks. They stopped it but I had those type of contractions from then until she was born on her due date. Everyday they would set in about 3:00 PM and last until early morning. Some of them were really painful but not real labor. With so many I was worried I would miss real labor. My midwife was over an hour away and my labors are usually very quick; however, on the morning of my due date I had a real contraction about 4:50 AM. This felt different as it felt like my cervix was being torn into so I knew it was the real deal. Again I had a very short labor, actually my longest, 5 hours and she was here. They may be here to stay until your baby is born. I hate to say that because I was worried about my water breaking while I was out so I ended up sticking around the house mostly. Plus it is uncomfortable to deal with. Good luck momma!
