Contractions? TMI....

Question

I never really experienced contractions with my son but I am curious if contractions can make you feel like you have to use the bathroom? I've had what feel like contractions and shortly after have to take a poo..... Thoughts/experiences anyone?

It's a strong tightening feeling in your belly that you can't control. You will actually be able to feel with hand how your belly gets super tense and then let's up slowly.  Labor contractions are painful and feel almost like strong cramps in your lower back and in your belly, but false contractions are painless. You will know when you are having them if you pay attention to the frequency of them coming and going in patterns.
