Did you have the Nuchal translucency screening done?

What are your thoughts? Do you get the results the same day?

I'm having it done tomorrow. My risk is highly bc I'm an "old" first time mom at 35, so I'm taking advantage of whatever non-invasive screenings are available.

We opted to do it. We got the ultrasound results within the day-the tech actually said during the ultra sound that while the doc still had to review it all looked good. Then the blood test we got the results in a few days and all was good. We opted to do it for two reasons-one we wanted to be prepared for anything and two- it was an additional ultrasound before our 20 week anatomy scan. We only got one scan at about 5weeks that was really crappy, and we wouldn't get another until 20weeks had we not done the NT scan. I'm glad we did it!

We did it because my husband was adopted. We actually had the test done this last Friday. We received normal range from the u/s but we are still waiting for the blood test to come back. We had the combined testing because it is more accurate.

Yes, my OB ordered it, and it was my first ultrasound at 13 weeks. I got my results immediately afterwards. :)

I opted out not to do it the only one I did was AFB testing at 16 weeks and the result was normal

I had it done. It took a week or two to get results. The only reason we did it was bc my fiancé was adopted and doesn't know his family history. Otherwise we wouldn't have done it at all.

I don't know if I did or not. I probably did but it was probably during my first ultrasound at 12+5
