There's literally no such thing as too early. The chance of miscarriage is NEVER 0% so why not be prepared. Being positive never killed anybody.

I had our crib and dresser assembled and the room painted by week 8 :)

Well it's a little late I think. It's good your staying positive! But the chance of miscarriage doesn't drop drastically until I think 13 or 14 weeks. But Goodluck to you. Praying for a safe pregnancy.
