IUI success stories? Encouragement?

Question

Currently TTC #1 for 17 months with one chemical pregnancy/early m/c in April of this year. Starting Clomid tonight for our first IUI cycle. I know a ton of people who tried IUI before moving on to IVF but don't know anyone who successfully conceived via IUI. Anyone?

Also, for those who have tried Clomid and/or IUI, is there anything you wish someone would have told you before you started?

Longest TWW ever! I go back in 6/17 for a blood test to see if we had success. The TWW is always long but this is the worst! I am so excited I just want to know now!

I had four iuis with injectables and all were unsuccessful:( I don't know why. I know you wanted positive stories so I wanted to add that 2 weeks after my last failed iui I got pregnant naturally:)

Going in for an ultrasound today to see if these eggs are ready to rock and roll. I was a little emotional this weekend, but now I'm ready to get the show on the road. I feel like this is going to be the longest TWW ever!
