When did you stop working?

So much pain i can barely do my job. But im only 24 weeks. FMLA is only 12 weeks... puts me at 36 weeks. What can i do??

Yesterday was my last day of work. 34 wks. I'm a preschool teacher.

I'm 33wks and hating life. I was not feeling my best but still doing ok up until this past week. Now I'm tired and sore all over and getting up to walk to the freaking printer 15 ft away is vicious on my back. I'm going to talk to my doctor at my appt tomorrow and see if he'll write me out for part time starting next Tuesday after the holiday weekend. I don't want to stop working completely, we need the money as long as I can, but hopefully half days will be better.

I'm on bed rest for a week. (I go back Tuesday) I am only at 17 weeks right now. However, I don't know how much longer I'll make it!

Not sure if this is possible for you, but could any modifications be made to your job to make it easier?  If they're reasonable accommodations and do not cause undue hardship on your employer, they are required to follow them if your doctor writes a note.  Something to think about...even a reduced work schedule may be an option.  Hope you're able to figure something out! ❤️

Hi! I stopped working at 20 weeks because I couldn't sleep, and was having trouble walking from the train. Glad I did, because 5 weeks later I really could barely get around. At 27 weeks, I had a preterm labor scare, so on modified bedrest now. At 30 wks, and very uncomfortable all the time. Too many issues to list here, but I can say that working would be impossible for me. I'm glad I trusted my judgement and was able to stop working st 20 weeks. I hope you can figure out a way to manage it either with disability, or some other way. Good luck to you. ✨✨✨✨

Happy to say my last day is this Friday!! I teach very young children and it has been hard on my body with the moving around and crouching. I'm 26+3 weeks with a high risk pregnancy.

What about short term disability ? I was able to take three months off from work .

I'm out on disability. Went out at 32 weeks. I just could not work anymore.

I'm 35 weeks  and still working it's sucks not sure what it is you do but I'm a chef on my feet all day in a hot kitchen There  have been times I have wanted to cry but I won't have a job after I leave so I'm trying to go until my water breaks but it's looking like I'll stop around 37 weeks .
