Am i pregnant or jus sick

Haven't been feeling good lately been nautious and my nipples have been very tender and itchy am i pregnant i been on the shot for a while and missed one so me and my husband was trying to have a baby then stopped now i think I'm pregnant i get the sensation that i cant hold normal solid foods down not even a sports drink and maybe ginger ale. I'm scared to test so i was wondering if i should jus wait it out until my doctors appointment Thursday to find out
