Hey ladies. I'm 12 weeks and 1 day. Right from the start, miscarriage has been my greatest fear. What are the odds of miss carrying now or am I basically in the clear? I so just want to relax and enjoy this!

The chances of misscarige after 12 weeks go down to about 3%
However, there's NO, safe zone throughout pregnancy. Women have them at 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks, 16 weeks, 23 weeks... and some also have stillborns. There's no safe zone throughout pregnancy at all.  All u can do is TRY to remain positive...while eating right as much as u can, drinking enough water, excerise, and take ur prenatal vitamins...
Miscarriages are not preventable..

Oh Lordy. I researched my heart out at the beginning of my pregnancy due to having a miscarriage before. General rule of thumb seems to be after 12 weeks, you're "good" but there are tons of other milestones afterwards. I constantly worked myself up because I was afraid I wouldn't make it past 9 weeks, 12 weeks, 21 weeks, 25 weeks (baby is viable) then 30 weeks. I drove myself and my husband insane.

If something is going to happen, it can't be stopped. Best thing for you and your baby is to relax (I know, I hated hearing that too) but it's seriously the best thing you can do. I was CONVINCED I'd lose this baby, especially since I had heavy bleeding the first trimester but I'm now 36 weeks and my baby is perfectly healthy.

The chances go down, but remember stressing too much can cause problems.

Stay positive and if you think something is wrong call your Dr or go in to the ER.

I had a miscarriage 2 years ago at 12 weeks. Your never "in the clear" just possibility goes down the further along you are. Good luck mama just try and relax and don't stress💜
