Breastfeeding with flat/inverted nipples

Any mommies or mommies to be have flat or inverted nipples? What were your experience like for pump ">breastfeeding or if you're pregnant with your first, are you concerned at all? I really want to breastfeed and my doctor has been assuring me that I shouldn't have a problem pump ">breastfeeding but I still feel so unsure about it. I've been told that pregnancy might even help my nipples protrude as my breasts get ready for bf-ing but I am 6 months along and have seen no changes. :( If some women who have normal protruding nipples have a difficult time pump ">breastfeeding , what does that mean for me? Anyone? Tell me I'm not alone.
