Stuck in my what?!

So this will most likely be my first and last time posting on here but I hope this word gets out to every woman that you know. 🚺

I got the Paragard IUD inserted in 2013. This device is supposed to last 10 years.

However, last week (in May 2016) I learned that this device is stuck in my cervix and that I now will need a hysterscopic procedure done to fix this issue.

And of course there's infection involved with all of this -- pelvic actinomycosis. Thanks Paragard. Because your non-hormonal copper lining was worth this headache.

I am trying to stay positive but the news keeps rolling in heavy!! 😡
