Checklist of things to buy for the baby ?

Hi everyone. I currently do not have a checklist of things to buy for the baby which is due in Nov. I'm also not sure when and where i should start buying. Lol . Any suggestions are welcome :)

I'm waiting until after my baby shower. People loooooove to buy baby presents!!! I pretty much got gifts of everything on my registry with my daughter. My main shopping was exchanging duplicates etc. I can't believe how generous my loved ones are.

If you can wait till your showers that is great. Maybe go for the necessity item, diapers, wipes, baby wash. Ive found those items are not popular at showers. And your guests want options.

I am a ftm as well and found a ton of great info on Pinterest. I did my registry on babylist and they have a little quiz where you tell them about your lifestyle and they give you a personalized registry checklist. I found that to be more helpful than anything else! It asks if you are breastfeeding, where baby will be sleeping, what your budget is, etc..

You can do a basic Google search and find plenty of shopping list. That's what helped me get started. I'm a ftm too so I'm new at this too. I'm due Nov 16th.

If you are planning to breastfeed contact your insurance company to see if you have coverage for a breast pump. You should be able to get that for free.

I'm 13 weeks so I started already. I just bought a few gender neutral sleepers and onsies plus I got a really great deal on a breast pump that I didn't want to pass up but that's all I have gotten yet. Saving everything else besides diapers for after the baby shower.
