Letrozole?

Question

Back story: I have PCOS. My husband & 1 have been trying to conceive for 16 months. I got pregnant with our 4 year old first round of clomid. This go around, I did not respond to clomid with metformin. Switched me to letrozole. Just started my 7th round of letrozole with metformin today. I responded last round & trigger shot but did not conceive. Dr wants us to try IUI & I'm just nervous. I go back June 1st & have to decide.

Anyone else have any luck with letrozole? Or maybe positive stories with IUI?

I'm 7 weeks pregnant today with twins via iui. I was on gonal f and produced 4 eggs. Did the trigger shot to make me ovulate and then they inseminated me with my husbands sperm. We were also advised to have sex for two nights straight. I honestly didn't think it was gonna work but now I'm pregnant with 2. Everyone is obviously different. I'm a healthy 35 yr old with no complications and my hubs is 36. We probably didn't need iui because we weren't exactly trying that hard for a year but we got impatient and went to see a specialist. She suggested it after we tried the old fashioned way and it didn't work. Only downside is that they need to take blood every other day to figure out the dosage. I missed one of the appointments and I guess the dosage was too high so my estrogen went thru the roof. Hope it works out for u. Good luck
