I don't know what to do. :(

I just found my boyfriend cutting himself and crying. I don't know what to do. :(. Should I take him to the doctor just in case to get checked out? His cuts don't seem too bad but I don't know if I should take him or not.😞 I don't know how to help him :(. I'm just finding out about this for the first time and I've never been with someone who self harmed.
