To do or not to do
I'm seriously considering eating my placenta after I give birth. I've done tons of research, and while there isn't any scientific facts to support it ( or deny it ), I've only ready good things about it.
------------------------------------------------------
Some benefits of eating your placenta include:
• it is loaded with iron and vitamins B6 and B12, as well as estrogen and progesterone
• increased breast milk supply (limited studies on this one)
• can protect from postpartum depression
-----------------------------------------------------
I have absolutely no idea how to bring this subject up to my doctor. I don't want to come right out with it not do I want to wait until the last second to talk to my doctor about it.
So do you think I should go ahead with my plan? And if so, how do I go about bringing it up to my doctor?
