Help! When to test for O on Clomid?

This is our first cycle TTC, and also my first cycle on Clomid because I don't ovulate. I am on CD11 today and my MD had me on Clomid days 5-9. According to the calculators out there I should start waiting to test until tomorrow (CD12). I'm paranoid I'm going to miss it but I also have heard that testing too early can give a false positive result. So should I start testing today or try and be patient and wait until tomorrow?

I'm on Clomid cd 5-9 then I start testing on CD10. Last month I used cheap walmart brand OPK and the first couple days I had faint lines but cd 17 showed a true positive. Just remember your result line needs to be darker than control line!! Good luck!!!

I tested this morning (CD 10) after taking my last pill last night. Got a positive but I'm almost completely sure it was false. I was like you, afraid I'd miss it.

I'm on Clomid as well. I start testing on CD10 to be on the safe side. I didn't ovulate last month but this month I got my positive opk and lots of EWCM on CD15.

Kristin - start testing. Clomid usually delays ovulation - so I doubt you will miss it. And it can give you several false positives. So start taking your bbt too so that you know which peak is the right one. Good luck!!!
