Tmi posts. Honesty or lies?

During a tmi post, I see  answers to questions that appear  to be "nice" and telling them what they want to hear.
Sure, I agree to some level on this , but if someone  wants an honest answer, why do we need to pretend and say "nice", fake things vs. answer honestly  especially  if op requests honest  answers?

Omg I hate those answers. My favorite is

"Personally, I wouldn't do that, but we are all different so it's okay.  I don't like to judge. You do whatever you think is best."

I'm kinda blunt. So i tend to post what comes to my mind. Sometimes i come off as rude sometimes I don't :/

I post truth.  Sometimes people think I'm being rude, but it doesn't need to be a TMI post.  I'm gonna be straight forward with my opinion.  Don't like it, don't post looking for opinions cuz I'm gonna give it! I agree, I'm not "nice" just to give someone what they want to hear.

How do u know people's answers r fake? Unless u post fake comments. Sounds like ur doing a lot of assuming here.
